Dresser Fever

A few months back I found these dresser on Craigslist and decided to upcycle it.
I cleaned it painstakingly and painted it using Annie Sloan’s Provence.

I “lined” it with a chevron of the same hue and I was pleased with the outcome.
A few weeks ago while I was cleaning my room I found out that I may have painted it with just one coat of Provence. It is actually blotchy. So I decided to re-paint it with the first color I wanted to paint it with from the start.
Annie Sloan’s Florence is (For the lack of a better word) Amazing!
I bought a new liner from Marshalls for $12 (4 rolls) and I think the juxtaposition of turquoise and pink is awesome.

I must say, Annie Sloan is indeed a genius! Her colors are so inspiring and so magnificently vivid. This dresser is a keeper. What do you think of the fruit of my labor? Is it worth a week amount of work?
