Iron Man

A friend suggested that I start telling stories on my hobby-blog. She thinks that I had a colorful life and I have to share it. I have a life-blog which is made mostly for myself than for other people. When I was younger I had a diary, during college a journal which leveled-up to a blog. It is hysterical re-reading my journal. I write on my life-blog mostly because I want to keep my sanity. Writing is an outlet because clearly I cannot afford a shrink. But I somehow feel that my dark humor is not fitted to my hobby-blog readers. I am not sure if you are ready for the monstrosity called ME.

TMI is my middle name. Hahaha!

Anyway, here’s another mini-project I just finished:
It’s an Antique Iron I bought from my neighbor downstairs. It is too heavy that the first thing which entered my mind was to make it as a book end or paper weight.

To add a modern vibe to this vintage collection I decided to paint it with Annie Sloan’s Emperor’s Silk & Annie Sloan’s Aubusson Blue. I sealed it with Cece Caldwell’s Satin Finish.

I love the marriage of the Red + Blue color. They compliment each other like the American Flag. Advance Happy 4th to y’all!
