Update: Shabby Dining Table

A few weeks ago (I know, I know, a month ago to be exact) I have posted this Dining table I found on craigslist.

After battling with painting it Vintage White or following what The Hubster wanted (any hue of blue) I decided to succumb to his whim.

He painstakingly sanded the top of the table

I applied Minwax Natural Wood Finish (Thrice)
2
I used Annie Sloan’s Duck egg Blue

I sealed it with Annie Sloan’s Clear Soft Wax

The Hubster was super-pleased with the outcome of this table

I then covered it with my Vintage table cloth

So there, one month in the making. I hope it was worth your wait. Frankly, my kitchen slash Dining area is the cleanest part of the house.

On a different note, I am working on another project (collaboration with The Hubster) and I cant wait to show you the before photos. The Hubster is loving the idea that we are now making progress with our crib as a team. As they say, 2 heads are better than one.
